Lost Horse Press Gets Lit!

Fair trade Festival PosterJoin Lost Horse Press for an afternoon of Readings, Book Signings and Glorious Music in celebration of Spokane’s Get Lit! Literary Festival!

Lost Horse Press Gets Lit! takes place on Friday, 15 April 2011 from 3 pm until 5 pm in the Walther Gallery of the MAC Museum at 2316 West First Avenue in Spokane, Washington. The event is free and open to all.

Friday afternoon’s featured readers will include Lost Horse Press poets, Henry Real Bird, the current Poet Laureate of Montana; Maya Jewell Zeller, Gonzaga University professor whose first collection of poems, Rust Fish, will be released by Lost Horse Press in April; Eastern Washington University Creative Writing professor, Christopher Howell; and Gonzaga University English professor, D.S. Butterworth.

The poets will be joined by two virtuoso musicians: renowned classical guitarist, Leon Atkinson, and Fiddlin’ Red Simpson, whose old-time fiddling will, without a doubt, ignite the audience.
