Fair Trade

Fair trade is a growing movement that promotes alternative approaches to conventional international trade. It is a trading partnership that promotes fair wages, good working conditions and sustainable development for excluded and disadvantaged producers around the world. Fair trade gives consumers an alternative to mass produced sweatshop products that support multinational corporations and exploit the producer, and encourages people to use their buying power to create positive social change.

Please join Lost Horse Press and the Northwest Fair Trade Network at Oden Hall on Friday, 20 October and Saturday, 21 October to learn about the concept of Fair Trade and discover unique, fairly traded clothing, textiles, baskets, jewelry, coffee, tea, handmade paper, small press books, and many other exotic and thoughful handmade gifts from Thailand, Tibet, Nepal, Mexico, Guatemala, Chile and Africa. For additional information, please contact Lost Horse Press at 208.255.4410.
