Peter Chilson
Peter Chilson teaches creative writing at Washington State University. He is the author of Riding the Demon: On the Road in West Africa, which won the Associated Writing Programs award for creative nonfiction. His story, “American Food,” won the Gulf Coast Fiction Prize, and his essays, short fiction, and journalism have appeared in The American Scholar, Ascent, Audubon, Best American Travel Writing, Clackamas Literary Review, High Country News, The North American Review, The North Dakota Quarterly, and elsewhere.

Lost Horse Press
proudly presents a one-day writing workshop and reading featuring
Idaho writer, Peter Chilson. The workshop—designed
for writers of all levels, fiction and nonfiction—is entitled
“Crossing the Boundaries of Genre: How Fiction and Nonfiction
Complement Each Other.” Cost of the one-day workshop is $25,
cash or check. The workshop will be held at Oden Hall,
143 Sunnyside Road, Sandpoint, Idaho on 16 July 2005 from 10 am
until 5 pm. Peter Chilson’s reading will take
place at Oden Hall at 7 pm and is free and open to the public.
