  Jazz Guitarist Bruce Bishop
Sunday Afternoon Salon at the High Hopes Cafe

BRUCE BISHOP JAZZ GUITAR SUNDAY SALON AT THE HIGH HOPE CAFE

Join jazz guitarist Bruce Bishop on Sunday, 6 February at the third Lost Horse Press Sunday Afternoon Salon at the Hi Hopes Café as Mr. Bishop discusses his philosophy of music and plays selected pieces.

Bruce Bishop has played with the Hot Pecans, Smokey Stover Blues Band, Vicki Leigh, and fellow Claremont musician, Ben Harper. His diverse guitar style encompasses jazz, blues, rockabilly and country.

Sunday’s Salon format will be unique as Mr. Bishop plans to allow the audience to guide the conversation on varied topics including distraction of attention as a substitute for growth, destructive hunger, projections and delusions, effects of non-appreciation, the emotional impact of harmonic structures, writing, recording, improvisation, digital music, and media overexposure.

Please join Lost Horse Press at the Hi Hopes Café on Sunday, 6 Febraury 2005 for another lively conversation dedicated to Rebel Creativity in the Age of Commerce. Bruce Bishop’s performance and discussion is the third in a three-part series titled Wild Mind: Rebel Creativity in the Age of Commerce presented by Lost Horse Press. Please watch for info about continuing “Sunday Afternoon Salons” at the Hi Hopes Cafe. For additional information about this or other Lost Horse programs, please call 208.255.4410.
