Lit on
the Lake
On the evening of 2 July, Lost Horse Press
and Full Spectrum Tours open the 2004 Full Moon "Lit on the Lake"
serieswith Spokane poet, Tom I. Davis. Kayak Lake Pend Oreille—by
the light of the full moon—to Fisherman’s Island, where you will
relax by the campfire, and hear poems and stories by noted Northwest
poet, Tom I. Davis.
Cost for this event is $99 per person plus 6% Idaho sales tax, and includes all kayaking equipment, pre-trip orientation, guides, and literary program. A minimum of 8 people per trip is required. For those who have kayaking equipment, cost is $84 per person plus tax.

Tom I. Davis was born in the town of Milan on the Little Spokane River in eastern Washington State, has lived in the San Juan Islands and worked in the North Cascade Mountains for the Forest Service. He has worked on fishing boats in Alaska and taught aboard Navy vessels in the Western Pacific. Father of seven children, Tom Davis has lived in Spokane for 21 years. The Little Spokane, his first book, was published by Lost Horse Press. Mr. Davis’s second collection of poems—Peaceful Valley—will be released by Lost Horse in the spring of 2005.
